Welcome to The Sword and the Shield! I am so glad you choose to visit our site. It’s very clear, when the Lord Jesus stated , “ And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free;” (John 8:32). KJV, Jesus was referring to one specific “Truth.”
To have a better understanding of this verse; John 8:32, we need to read the preceding verse; V-31 in context. “ …If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed;…” Last month, the Home-Page, introduced us to the oneness of Christ Himself; with the Word ( JOHN 1:1; 14,) and with the Truth ( JOHN 17:17).
Further, in JOHN 8:36 we read, “ If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” This verse, John 8:36, reminds us that of freedom comes from knowing the truth about Christ, and His Word.
This needs to be a warning to those who have added to the Word of God after the Canon of the Scripture has been fulfilled (Revelation 22:18-19).
“ For I testify unto every man that hearth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part our of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
Adding to the completed Word of God; the Sixty Six (66,) Inspired Books of the Bible; ( 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:16;) leads only to the confusion; not added inspiration and instruction!.
It seems that; this was the Apostle Paul’s concern when he said in:
Galatians 1:6-9, that “…But though we, or an angel, [obviously, that includes; angel Moroni,] from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be [ACCUSED]”
In month of September, I have presented the Truth from the Inspired written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
“ All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
Base on the True written Word of God, I have compared the Bible’s view of Who
THE GOD THE FATHER of the Scripture is, Who GOD THE SON, and Who GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT of the Scripture is.
The Inspired written Word of God does not require over 4,000 changes!
