Welcome to the new home page, for “The Sword and Shield.”
From the inception of this ministry, I knew, God’s hand is upon it! In nearly three months the number of hits jumped to over 1,250! Needless to say, there is need; there is hunger for the Truth!
For this reason, I have decided to add the additional page regarding the Jehovah Witnesses. The Scripture clearly states, also the Lord Jesus Himself clearly stated in response to the Apostle’s question as to when He shall set up His Kingdom; in Acts 1:7 “ …It is not for you to know the times or the season, which the Father hath put in his own power.” Also, in Matthew 24:36 again he stated “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
In spite of these warnings, Jehovah Witnesses had predicted the Lord’s return to be in: 1914, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, and again in 1975. All of these predictions obviously failed. My hope is that this additional page would clarify all these speculations!
On the other hand, Mormonism has added “another gospel,” to the Gospel of Jesus, in spite of warning from the Scripture, not to add, or take away from the written Word of God ( Revelation 22:18-19). In Galatians 1:6-9 it is obvious, the Apostle Paul by God’s providence knew, when he said “…But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” No doubt, he had the angel “Moroni,” in mind!
