The Watchtower Society
(Commonly, Known as Jehovah’s Witnesses)
DOES NOT SPEAK FOR GOD--;
As they Claim!
The organization known as, “The Watchtower Society,” that governs Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide, believes; they are God visible representative on earth! They believe; it is through their organization, that God allegedly teaches the Bible to man on earth today!
They claim people today, have no necessary discernment, and are unable to ascertain the true meaning of the Scripture without their help! They are postulating (reasoning,) they have the necessary vast resources for learning the Scripture! They claim, they are the sole possessor of God’s truth, and other Christian organizations are viewed as deceptive --; doing the work of the devil! They also claim, reading the Bible alone is insufficient in and of itself in learning God’s truth!
They say, unless a person reads their vast literature, and attend their Bible study, he or she will not progress spiritually, even if they read the Bible regularly! [1]
The members of the Watchtower Society are expected to obey the instruction of the leadership, as the voice of God! [2]
We know this to be true, because the Watchtower literature, admonishes the reader, to be dependant upon the Watchtower Society’s interpretation of the Bible. [3]
How true, the apostle Paul knew about them, when he said, over 2,000 years ago, in 2 Timothy 3: 5, 6 and 7 “ Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” V-6 “For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diverse lusts.” V-7 “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

If a member refuses, even on some minor issues, it is assumed that the individual is an apostate! And, such act of disobedience, ultimately leads to disfellowship! Such means of retribution is the most effective tool, in keeping an individual member obedient to the authorities and their teaching!
The Watchtower Society, (TWS,) claims that the primary teaching of,
2 Peter 1:20-21, where V-20 states “ Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation,” they have taken the phrase “no private interpretation;” to mean, instructing the society members that, only (TWS,) can offer true meaning, and proper interpretation of the Bible! [4]
In Acts 8:30, and 31, where Philip is helping the Ethiopian man understand the Scripture--, using these two verses to illustrate that people generally cannot rightly understand the Bible without an organization to guide them! So they claim, (TWS,) is allegedly God’s Bible-interpreting organization on earth. [5]
Considering the two preceding paragraphs, first, in regard to 2 Peter 1:20, they have misinterpreted the key verses of the Scripture, in order to authenticate their own authority for interpreting the Bible!
Second, in regard to Acts 8:30-31, they have multiple tract records of false prophecies:
False Prophecies in (J.W.’s,) Watchtower Literature
1914: Studies in the Scripture (1891) refers to “the full establishment of the Kingdom of God in the earth at A.D. 1914.”
1925 :Millions Now Living Will Never Die (1920) said, “1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the faithful prophets of old.”
1975: Our Kingdom Ministry (in 1968) claimed: “there are only about ninety months [71/2 years] left before 6,000 years of man’s existence on earth is completed.”

INTRODUCTION
The pages you are about to read in this Website, might appear to be short and condense. However, let me point out from the onset, the shortness of pages and thoughts--, MUST not to be construed as shallowness!
As you shall see, my purpose in presenting these pages are not so much the quantity, but the quality of the message on focus! And if, these pages could help you to bring one Jehovah’s Witnesses out of the kingdom of darkness and its power--; into the kingdom of light ( John 1:9,) I have well accomplished my purpose; for leading them to the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 1:13-14).

“If the foundation be destroyed, what can
the righteous do?
In numerous occasion, I have debated Jehovah’s Witnesses--; those who came to my door and few in leadership position. I have always asked them, who has translated your “bible,” the New World Translation? Every time, I was told the men who translated prefer to remain their anonymity--, not claiming any fame. My answer always has been, it seems the Apostle Paul didn’t mind putting his name on his epistles, neither any of the Apostles.
Recently, it was revealed, why such cover up about the translators of the NWT. Ron Rhodes, the president of, “Reasoning from the Scripture Ministries, in his book, “ The 10 Most Important Things You Can Say to a Jehovah Witnesses; he revealed that cover up!
In his book, on page 25 he writes, The translators of the New World Translation were not biblical linguists.
He writes, “ It is well known that the Watchtower resisted identifying members of the translation committee. The claim was that the translators preferred to remain anonymous and humble, giving God the glory. However, such anonymity also prevents checking their credentials.
When high-level defector Raymond Franz, in his book Crisis of Conscience, finally revealed the identity of the translators--; Nathan Knorr, Fredrick Franz, Albert Schroeder, George Gangas, and Milton Henschel—it quickly became apparent that the committee was unqualified for the task.
Four of the five men in the committee has no Hebrew or Greek training whatsoever. In fact they had only high school educations. The fifth--; Frederick Franz—claimed to know Hebrew and Greek, but upon examination under oath in a court of law in Edinburg, Scotland, he failed a simple Hebrew test. Franz dropped out of the University of Cincinnati after his sophomore year. Even while there, he had not been studying anything related to theological issues.
J. W.’s False Concept of Who

Another Christmas is almost behind us. Gifts have been exchanged, lights and decorations are about to be taken down, but the emptiness, that Christ-shaped vacuum; for some still remains! No wonder, many are more emotionally depressed and sadden during and after such blessed holiday than before, because the True Light is missing in their lives! This Christ-shaped vacuum cannot be filled with gifts and artificial lights.
John 1:9 states, “ That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” (Sadly, many will not receive Him!)
John 5:39-40. In another place, Jesus Himself stated, “ Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. John 5:39-40.
According to the Lord Himself; He is the giver of the True Light and Eternal Life! Worldly lights and gifts are temporarily.
John 20:31 “ But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through [His] Name.”
The Bible states in Matthew 1:21, “ …and thou shalt call [His] [Name;] Jesus: for [He] shall save his people from sins.”
In John 16:9, He Himself sated, “ Of sin, because they believe not on me.”

The False Witnesses Tell You
When They Come to your Door!
Obviously, there are numerous lies found in the teaching of the Jehovah’s “Witnesses,” but time and space will not allow me to elaborate on all of them.
THE FIRST LIE: Their first lie comes from their teachings on the Deity of the Lord Jesus! The J.W.’s deny the Deity of the Lord Jesus …; by saying “ …he was a God, but not the Almighty God, who is Jehovah…” (Let God Be True. P.33, WatchTower Bible and Tract Society Publication, rev. ed. 1952)
It is obvious, they have ignored the saying of the Lord Jesus Himself-;
Revelation 1:8 “ I [Am] Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
What is so difficult--; reading Isaiah 7:14 and then comparing it with the Matthew 1:23?
Isaiah 7:14 “ Therefore the Lord himself shall give a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall called his name Im-man’-uel.
Matthew 1:23, Quoting Isaiah 7:14, then after Im-man’u-uel, adds this phrase, “which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Colossians 2:9 “ For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
Philippians 2:11 “ And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Isaiah 45:23 , In Isaiah 45:23, the exact attributes we just read from Philippians 2:11, is given the God the Father!
The Jehovah’s “Witnesses,” have taken upon themselves to insert an indefinite article, “a,” before God, in John 1:1, claiming that, it is not proper English writing! In reality, they are correcting the fifty six Hebrew, Greek, and English scholars; who were assigned by the King James to translate--; from what to be known as Textus Receptus for “ received text” (i.e., the text received by people). Also referred to as the “Majority,” “ Traditional,” “Antiochian,” and “Byzantine,” this tradition represents the underlying Greek text for most of the King James translation of 1611.

THE SECOND LIE: Denying the Reality of Hell!
The Bible is VERY CLEAR, how the Lord Jesus spoke, warning more about Hell, than He spoke about the Heaven!
The Jehovah’s “Witnesses,” teach that “…the word hell in the Bible is just the common grave…” ( Let God Be True, P-92)
But upon examining the Living Word of God, the Scripture, we read in Revelation 14: 10-11, “…and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”
In Mark 9:48 our Lord Himself stated, “WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH NOT, AND THE FIRE NOT QUENCHED.”
According to the Bible, the rich man who died and went to hell [according to the Lord Himself,] was conscious, in torment (Luke16:22-28 ).
Jesus Himself spoke repeatedly of the torment of hell by describing as “weeping and gnashing their teeth” Matthew 8:12; 22:13; 24:51; 25:30,) which indicates the state of consciousness. How could J.W.’s claim that there is no conscious existence after death!
Matthew 25:46, The Greek word for “everlasting,” (aionion)
is used for both heaven and hell! Which means as heaven last for eternity, so does the hell, will last for eternity.
In Luke 16:19-31, there is great dialogue between the rich man [being in hell tormented,] and the Lord! He knew it was too late for him and hoping the Lord would send someone to warn his brothers. In hell, the rich man was conscious—, speaking!
In Luke 16:24b, according to the Lord Himself…, the rich man stated, “ …for I am tormented in this flame.”
PLEASE NOTE:
In the original Greek, the proper translation of John 1:1a “ In the beginning was the Word…,” literally, translated that the Word became flesh (V-14,) and dwelt among us.
The three statement in John 1:1, after V-1a, “And the Word was with God.” John 1:1b. “And dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father,” 1:14b. And, “And the Word was God” John 1:1c. “Full of grace and truth.” John 1:14c. …all three statements is the declaration of the pre-incarnate existence of the Lord Jesus! Putting all the three statements together and reading them within the context of the original Greek, John 1:1a, “ In the beginning was the Word,” must read, “ Before there was a beginning, there was the Word, or Intelligence Personified.” SEE: PROVERBS CHAPTER 8.
And also, the Word not only was with God, that Word was God! Not a God, or the God, but God without definite or indefinite article, for the reason given below!
For the start, the word for “God,” theos, has no article before it! It is not ‘the” God or “a” God. The reason is that in Greek writing, when the writer came across of a name in an exceptionally high offices, namely a state person in royal rank, or naming of a king, the article; “the,” or “a” was omitted, and such was the proper grammar in Greek writing. So, the God of the Bible is so unique and so special that the Holy Spirit revealed to John to omit the article, “the.” [1]
Here John wants to emphasize the basic quality of God as a Spirit that he mentions His name without the definite article. It is not that he wants to refer to one of the two, or three , or many gods of unknown, but only to one True God of heaven in His principal characteristic as Spirit and Truth ( John 4:24). A Spirit who cannot be visible by human eyes but nevertheless is very real!
As we continue with “The Power of Christ and His Blood,” we will embark upon another profound principle, related to the Lord Jesus, in regard to His Deity! This precious nugget is hidden in the first part of John 1:1a “In the beginning [WAS] the Word…” and in John 1:14a “ And the Word became flesh (literal translation of 1:14a).
The first important word under consideration would be the verb “was’ in John 1:1a. In original Greek, this phrase is in the imperfect tense. But sadly, in English we do not have a true imperfect tense, therefore, it makes it so difficult to translate the Greek imperfect.The Greek verb een, or in English “was,” holds the key to the understanding the first part of John 1:1a. Searching deeper, we find that, this verb; “een,” for “was,” is what is called the “durative imperfect,” of the “eimi,” or, “to be.”
And here is the reason for pointing out, all of these!
IT SPEAKS OF A TIME BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THINGS, WHEN THE WORD WAS, BEFORE BECAME FLESH! Now, here John is telling us that the “Word,” Logos, was in existence before the world was created! The entire Book of Proverbs chapter 8, point this out also.
THEREFORE, THE BEST TRANSLATION OF JOHN 1:1a WOULD BE THIS, “BEFORE THERE WAS A BEGINNING, THE WORD HAD BEEN!” KNOWING THAT, THE WORD, “LOGOS,” IS REFERRING TO THE LORD JESUS!
Now, do you really think, an illiterate, confused, brainwashed Cult member who comes to your door, telling you, Christ existed from the time; He was born in Bethlehem would know, or understand all of this? NOT SO!
Human beings must recognize that man in his finite mind, cannot understand God’s timeless infinity and eternity--, for God is not defined, or bound by time as man is!
When we speak of God and His existence, time become irrelevant! So, God is speaking to us in understandable, human terms and language. The sense of reasoning that God has given us, tells us that everything has a beginning. Even the laws of physics; the first and the second law of thermodynamics tell us that everything has a beginning! But at the same time, we need to know that, Psalm 90:2 tells us that God is, “…from everlasting to everlasting” this is to say, He existed from the beginninglessness of time to the endlessness of time. He gives us only what we can comprehend and we need to wait till the end-time, to have the full understanding of what we are not able to comprehend now.
The point then, the Apostle John makes here, in John 1:1a, is not primarily in who created the world or who existed before the beginning, but mainly is interested in telling his readers--, since when has this Logos or Word existed? His subject here is the eternity of the Word and the time element of the Word, “ in the beginning,” and that is why it is placed at the beginning of the verse of the whole Gospel! John wants to make sure, that if this Logos, the Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, of whom he is speaking about, did not exist before there was a finite beginning, then the whole foundation would be out of order and falls! Once again, the verb een, in the durative imperfect, takes the Word, Logos, Christ, far back--, long before the world was created, much farther than can be imagined by man’s finite minds! And here, is where the concept of eternity is. And, we must conclude that, eternity is timelessness! For human beings who can only think within the limited concepts of time and space, cannot fully comprehend this! But with God, there is neither past, nor present, or future. God is timeless, yet whatever God is saying to man has to be put within the elements of time, so he gives us a starting point, and that starting point He calls “the beginning.” God Himself is not limited by “the beginning!” So, John’s conclusion is this: when there was no time, the Word, Logos, Christ was, when no human beings were, or human mind existed, the Word; Christ was!
It has been said of Augustine, when a man asked him where God was before the heaven and the earth was created, he answered, “ He was in Himself.” He is indeed that only self-contained Being; for he is the only Infinite One.
The same question was asked of Martin Luther, and, Luther answered, “He was creating hell for idle, proud, and inquisitive spirits like you.”
It has been wisely said by a godly Greek scholar that the meaning of the durative imperfect verb een, “was,” in John 1:1a is likened to a ring, where it has no beginning, and no end to detect when we examine! God is the same way, Hehas no beginning, and no end!
Let’s take this concept of the phrase, “ in the beginning,” one step further, and see what John really meant, when he used this expression! Obviously, the first thing that comes to mind, would be Genesis 1:1 “ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Here, Moses makes a logical assumption that before the heaven and the earth were made, there was a maker (Creator). Or, logically, there cannot be a result without a cause! But again, the question comes up, how does the Lord Jesus fit in all of this? We find that, John took care of this earlier, when he gave us the logical translation of John 1:1, in regard to the Word, (Logos,) which was Christ. And the verse correctly was translated, based on Greek Lexicon to read, “BEFORE THERE WAS A BEGINNING, THE WORD HAD BEEN.”
The second most important word to be examined in John 1:1, would be the word, “beginning,” the equivalent to Greek word, archee.
One of the largest Greek Lexicons, ( Mega Lexicon Tees Hellinikis Glooossees. Deemeetrahou, Vol. II, PP. 1009, 1010,) gives a total of 18 meanings for the Greek word archee and this, has caused some confusion, since the English Bible uniformly translates this always as “the beginning,” regardless of the context! If we chose only two of the 18 meanings, we find that the word, archee ( beginning,) is used in absolute and in relative context! Here in John 1:1, John uses is, the “absolute,” and not relative for the word “beginning.” When we translate this correctly, as such, we find that John is referring to,
“the beginning, the origin of all things.” So, reading John 1:1 in context of proper grammar, in Greek rendering, we find that the verse is saying, “ Before there was a beginning, the Word, Logos, Christ was.” John’s concern is to prove that, before the beginning, before the eternity, before the creation of the heaven and the earth, Christ had existed!
The best example of this word archee, for “absolute beginning” which is used in John 1:1 is given to us in John 6:64 also, and the verse states “ For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.” Here, John refers to the beginning of the creation. Other references with the “absolute meaning,” are: Matthew 19:4; John 8:44; 1 John 1:1; 2:13; 3:8 and many more! And what we find here now, is far different from what the Cults are trying to tell us!
Other references which clearly reveal to us the use of the Greek word archee ( the beginning,) and, its use, to mean not only in relative terms, but also the absolute term--, not only the result, but also, the cause is found in Revelation 3:14 “ And unto the angel of the Church of the Laodiceans write; These things said the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.” Now here, does John refer to the Lord Jesus as the first result of the creation of God or as the First Cause, the Creator? We find here by the proper translation of the word “beginning,” (archee,) Jesus Christ was the Cause of God’s creation and not the first result of it!
Other passages to consider, in backing up this concept, are found in JOHN 1:1-3, and, Colossians 1:15, 16-18 .
